NORFOLK, Va. — Security officers at Granby High School sprayed a student Wednesday with pepper spray after he tried to break into a classroom to attack another student.
The officers took the assailant to the ground, but were unable to control him, according to an E-mail sent out by Principal Ted Daughtrey, The Virginia-Pilot reports. The student disregarded warnings about the pepper spray.
Pepper spray has been used on three students in the district this month.
