San Jose Student Charged With Raping Fellow Student

San Jose State University (SJSU) student Carlos Murillo Felix has been arrested and charged with the alleged rape of a 19-year-old student.

Felix, 21, and the victim had previously dated. The assault occurred after the suspect invited her to his dorm room. University Police Department officials say alcohol played a part in the assault, which allegedly occurred April 30.

Felix was charged with felony rape, felony false imprisonment and felony sexual battery on campus.

Felix is currently out on bail but is not allowed on campus.
