Report: District Official Violated Employees’ Rights, Hid Evidence

NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — A grand jury report on the Twin Rivers Unified School District and its police force found widespread corruption, missing weapons and illegal actions.

The report claims that district leaders actively destroyed the careers of individuals who reported unlawful acts, The Sacramento Bee reports. They are also accused of hiding Police Chief Christopher Breck’s computer and the district’s server when they were subpoenaed, and violating the rights of employees and police officers.

The school district has 90 days to respond to the report, which is the second issued by a grand jury. The first alleged financial mismanagement, racial tension and ongoing feuds.
