Police: Suspect Had Bombs, Maps of 3 Washington Colleges

SEATTLE—Authorities arrested a man from Nevada on Wednesday near the University of Washington and found weapons, six firebombs and maps to three Seattle college campuses.

They also found anti-government propoganda and a recording of the 21-year-old suspect, Justin Jasper, saying he planned to do something to support protesters in Brazil and Syria. He is being held on $2 million bail, reports CNN.

The campuses allegedly targeted include the University of Washington, Seattle University and South Seattle Community College.

Jasper stole a pickup truck in Montana and drove to Washington State. He was also carrying body armor.

He was originally approached by University of Washington campus police officers on Tuesday while he was sleeping in the truck, reports the New York Daily News. Jasper was not apprehended at that time because nothing questionable was revealed in a report they ran on the vehicle. The next day, however, police were able to confirm the truck was stolen.
