Police: Someone Tried to Blow Up a UC Davis Fraternity House
An arsonist attempted to blow up the Kappa Sigma Fraternity house at the University of California, Davis early Sunday morning by causing a gas leak and then trying to ignite it.
Police say if the gas had ignited, the explosion would have destroyed the house and damaged other properties, reports the Los Angeles Times.
During the attempt, several residents were inside the house sleeping. No suspect has been apprehended.
