Police Bust School Security Guard for Possession of Bomb-Making Materials

LEOMINSTER, Mass. – Jesse Holland, a 23-year-old Waltham High School security officer was arrested Wednesday morning after police say they found materials to make a bomb in his car.

Authorities believe he stole thealuminum and iron powder, a ribbon of magnesium, a coil of rusted metal wire and a small emergency vehicle jump start battery from Waltham High’s chemistry lab, reports CBS Boston. They also found a stun gun, hatches and drugs. Police arrested Holland as he was waiting in his vehicle in a Barnes and Noble parking lot.

Holland is a contract security officer employed by Command Security Corp. who patrolled the campus in the evenings, reports NECN.com.

He is being held without bail pending a hearing to determine if he is dangerous.
