New York Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Hospital Medication

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y.— Police arrested a man for allegedly breaking into a secure anesthesia cart at Nathan Littauer Hospital and taking vials of medication, the Daily Gazette reports.

Todd G. Plummer was at the hospital to visit a woman and her new baby. He left the visiting room and into an empty operating room where police said he forced open a locked cart to access morphine and other narcotics.

Police arrested Plummer when he returned to the hospital and later found the narcotics on him, his car and in his apartment.

All medications were recovered.
