The University of Colorado at Boulder is facing new claims of mishandling sexual assaults.
Two students filed a Clery Act complaint on Aug. 27, claiming the school doesn’t accurately report incidents or warn students when someone has been found guilty of committing a sexual assault, reports the Huffington Post. One complainant says her attacker was allowed to stay on campus for a month and remain on an athletic team after he was deemed to have committed “nonconsensual sexual intercourse.” She also claims the school waited two weeks before notifying the campus community about the assault.
