NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — More threatening E-mails from a University of California Irvine professor accused of trying to burn down a high school have surfaced.
Rainer Klaus Reinscheid, in an E-mail dated July 17, said that he tried multiple times to burn down University High School and the home of its assistant principal in retaliation for his son’s suicide, The Orange County Register reports. The message was addressed to about 10 recipients, whom Reinscheid said had failed him and his son.
So far, three E-mails from Reinscheid have been released publicly in which he outlined plans for a mass murder and the burning of the school.
