Man Tries to Kidnap Infant from Emerson Hospital
CONCORD, Mass. — A man was arrested Nov. 9 after he allegedly attempted to kidnap his girlfriend’s infant from Emerson Hospital’s Birthing Center.
Anthony DeAntonis was arraigned in court on Nov. 10 and ordered to have no contact with the victim’s mother or residence, Wicked Local Concord reports. DeAntonis, who is the biological father of the infant, will remain under house arrest.
A nurse allegedly caught DeAntonis breaking into an office in the Birthing Center and tried to stop him. DeAntonis knocked the nurse to the ground. Security officers were able to detain Deantonis in the maternity ward until police arrived.
