Man Dies After Falling from Wayne State Parking Garage

DETROIT—A former Wayne State University student died after falling from the top of one of the university’s parking structures.

The 31-year-old man, whose name has not been released, drove to the top of the five story structure around 10:45 a.m. on July 9, according to Freep.com. Around 10:50 a.m., an onlooker found him on the ground and contacted authorities.

Campus police said no foul play was involved; the victim either fell or jumped off the structure. However, officials are reviewing video surveillance to determine the true cause of the incident.
