Man Breaks Hospital Door, Punches Security Officer

HOBOKEN, N.J. — A man was arrested on May 20 after he kicked and broke a glass door at Hoboken University Medical Center and punched a hospital security officer.

David Bertucci, 24, was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief, The Jersey Journal reports. He broke the emergency room door and fled the scene. A security officer who chased after Bertucci told police that Bertucci punched him in the left temple.

Bertucci was apprehended in the lobby of a nearby building. The security officer identified him as the man who broke the door at the hospital.
