Man Arrested at Va. School for ‘Rifle’ Stunt

Shenandoah County (Va.) Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 33-year-old man Wednesday for entering a school bearing the same name as the one where the Conn. shooting occurred carrying a 2-by-4 board with the words “high-powered rifle.”

Following the incident at the Virginia county’s Sandy Hook Elementary School, 33-year-old Christopher Gerrit Johnson was taken into custody, reports North Virginia Daily.

Johnson, who was not armed, is being charged with disorderly conduct. He was reportedly “bringing awareness to public safety,” Maj. Scott Proctor said.
