Ky. Schools to Install Panic Alarms

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. — Greenup County Schools officials will install a panic alert system, called Police Watch, throughout the district.

The new system will connect the Russell Police Department with classrooms instantly, allowing officers to view the classroom in real time and high definition in the event of a crisis, WCHS.com reports. RPD officials said the system would cut out the call center, which most security systems have.
