Charleston County School District Executive Director of Security and Emergency Management Michael Reidenbach

Congratulations to Charleston County School District Executive Director of Security and Emergency Management Michael Reidenbach for being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

  • Provided essential logistical support in the planning and execution of 100 COVID-10 vaccination clinics where more than 10,000 doses of the vaccine were provided to district employees, students, and family members.
  • Planned and executed $2.2 million in projects annually, including emergency communication equipment and video surveillance systems
  • Implemented CCSD’s first continuity of operations plan to ensure the district can continue all vital functions despite long-term disruptions caused by public health crises, critical incidents, natural disasters, or major weather events.
