ISU Student Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Bus

AMES, Iowa, An Iowa State University (ISU) student was hit by a Midwest Coach bus on campus Nov. 29 and died the following day as a result of his injuries.

According to an ISU police press release, Robert John Stupka, 21, was crossing a street on campus and walked between another bus and a vehicle directly into the path of the Midwest Coaches bus.

The accident is still under investigation. The crosswalk involved is the only one on campus with a pedestrian signal.
