It isn’t difficult to be safe. All it requires is a little common sense. However, it would appear common sense is hard to come by for certain integrators.
If you can’t easily reach somewhere by using a ladder on a flat surface, you should probably rethink your approach and not come up with some crazy modification for the ladder.
Not only are you putting your own life at risk, but also your campus’. Shoddy work due to poor installation can result in an electrical fire or loose equipment falling on a passerby.
