Ind. District Implements Anti-Bullying Tip Line

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — South Bend School District has implemented a tip line to help combat bullying.

The system was successfully tested in eight schools in November 2011, ABC 57 News reports. Tip lines were put in place at all schools in January; more than 100 tips have come in since then.

The program allows students and parents to text message or e-mail in a complaint, which will be monitored in real time at the front desk.
