IAHSS Soliciting Candidates for President-Elect

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. – The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) is currently seeking candidates for the open position of president-elect.

The position will be available in March when Evelyn Meserve begins as executive director of IAHSS.

IAHSS requests that candidates be willing to complete the entire term, including president-elect, one year as president and one year as immediate past president. A special electronic election will be held in order to fill the position.

Those who are interested in the position are asked to submit their names to Evelyn Meserve at evelyn@iahss.org by February 29, 2008.

The criteria for the position is listed below:

President-Elect. Senior member in good standing three years prior to nomination and a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA). The candidate must have a minimum of two years experience as a Regional Chairperson, State Chairperson, Chapter officer or Board of Director prior to taking office of President-Elect. A minimum of one of the two years must be on the International Board.
