The IAHSS Foundation Crime Survey compiles data each year that is used by countless security staffs and administrators for benchmarking and budget planning, as well as by researchers and media outlets. This is only possible because of health care security practitioners such as yourself who take the time to submit information that benefits thousands of hospitals throughout the country.  Please set aside a few minutes to gather the numbers on criminal offenses that occurred at your facility or campus in 2022 and a few more minutes to enter the information at www.surveymonkey.com/r/5CJ5Q7V. (All submissions will be kept anonymous. Only aggregate results will be published.)

To participate in the survey:

  1. Gather the necessary data for your organization
  2. Click here to provide your data

The Crime Survey will help you:

  • Identify industry crime trends,
  • Justify Security expenditures to protect employees, patient visitors, and hospital property
  • Reduce potential for liability for negligent or inadequate security
  • Help directors and managers benchmark the functional breadth and depth of their departments

We need a significant number of responses to have validity so taking the time to do this is critical. We appreciate your support in contributing to research that will benefit the healthcare industry.
