Hundreds of Ohio Schools Do Not Have Updated Safety Plans

CLEVELAND — As many as 262 Ohio schools have failed to comply with state laws requiring school safety plans.

State law requires all schools to complete a detailed safety and floor plan and then submit them to local law enforcement and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, NewsNet5.com reports. However, the news station discovered that 39 schools have not submitted any safety plans, while 223 schools have failed to update their current plan.
