BERLIN — Human body parts were allegedly sent to two Vancouver schools, police said Tuesday. It was not immediately clear if the packages were connected to the case of Luka Rocco Magnotta, a porn actor who is accused of killing and dismembering a man and sending his body parts to politicians.
A package containing what appeared to be a hand was received at False Creek Elementary School, CNN reports. A second package holding a foot was discovered by staff at St. George’s School.
Magnotta was arrested this week in Germany. He faces first-degree murder charges in the killing of a Concordia University student from China, Jun Lin. One of Lin’s hands and one of his feet were mailed to Canadian politicians, but his other hand and foot are unaccounted for.
