NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — An employee of Hospital for Special Care allegedly shot and wounded two supervisors during a dispute regarding a disciplinary issue on Wednesday.
Victor Valcarcel Sr., a maintenance worker at the hospital, was arrested at his home, the Associated Press reports. Lynn Trask and Robert Barucci were in serious but stable condition at a hospital in Hartford.
Valcarcel was charged with first-degree assault and criminal intent to commit murder.
