Hikvision, based in City of Industry, Calif., releases the 12-megapixel smart outdoor camera (DS-2CD45CF-IZH), which it says is a high-performing, versatile IP model that provides high definition resolution at up to 15 fps.
The camera has Hikvision’s H.264+ compression, three independent video streams and an onboard micro SD card slot for up to 128GB of storage. It also has digital wide dynamic range (WDR), digital defog, 3D digital noise reduction and an IR range up to 120 feet.
It features object counting, detection of intrusion, line crossing, scene change, defocus, object left behind, object removal and audio level spikes or loss, according to the company.
