Fugitive Turns Self In After Chaperoning School Field Trip

SEATTLE — The Seattle School District has launched an investigation after a fugitive ended up on a school field trip with 20 Lowell Elementary students on Dec. 14.

A parent on the trip recognized Donald Vasser from the TV show “Washington’s Most Wanted,” MSNBC reports. Vasser, who was a chaperone on the field trip, fled.  Later, he turned himself in to police.

Vasser’s daughter is a student at the school and wanted her father to go on the trip, her mother said.
