4th Victim Dies in Marysville-Pilchuck High School Shooting
Andrew Fryberg, the cousin of shooter Jaylen Fryberg, died from his wounds Friday night.
Andrew Fryberg became the fourth victim to die from the Oct. 24 shooting at Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington. Fryberg had been hospitalized in Seattle since the shooting and died from his wounds Friday night, according to a statement by Harborview Medical Center.
He was the last student remaining at the hospital and was a cousin of the shooter, Jaylen Fryberg, who died of self-indicated gunshot wound at the scene, according to a CNN report. Nate Hatch, who was also Fryberg’s cousin, was released from Harborview Thursday. He was shot in the jaw.
The other victims were Zoe Galasso, 14, who was killed during the shooting, Gia Soriano, 14, who died Oct. 26, and Shaylee Chuckulnaskit, who passed away on Oct. 31. Both were in the Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
