Former Employee Threatens Hospital Staff
SAN DIEGO — Police have arrested a former Pomerado Hospital employee for allegedly making death threats against hospital staff members.
Hospital officials contacted authorities on Thursday after terroristic threats against specific hospital employees were posted on Yelp.com. The threats indicated that firearms and possibly explosives would be used in the attacks, NBC San Diego reports.
Authorities traced the online threats to 26-year-old Jelann Miles. Upon searching his home, police seized several computers and firearms. It is unclear why Miles made the threats.
