Fire Officials Investigate Arsons at Denison U.

GRANVILLE, Ohio — An investigation is underway at Denison University after arsonists set fire in an all-female residence hall. No one was hurt during the blaze.

Witnesses said they saw three to four masked men enter the building through a back door and place a device in a dorm room located on the second floor, reports 10TV.com. The disguise and method that the suspects used matches the description of similar acts performed by an underground student group operating on campus, according to fire officials.

The group, known for playing pranks on other students, has been active on the Denison campus for more than 100 years. This year alone, the group has set a handful of fires at the university. Fire officials note that the attack rises well above practical jokes on a college campus.
