Father Files Restraining Order Against Kindergartner

A Wisconsin dad has filed a restraining order against his daughter’s five-year-old classmate at Prairie Lane Elementary School, who he claims has been bullying his child.

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. – The father of a student at Prairie Lane Elementary School has filed a restraining order against a five-year-old, who he claims has been bullying his daughter.

Brian Metzger says the five-year-old male student repeatedly harassed his six-year-old daughter. In one incident, the boy threatened her saying, “I want to slit your throat and watch you bleed,” Yahoo Shine reports.

The bullying escalated on May 12 when the boy kicked the girl in the face and threw sand and rocks at her during gym class, according to a police report. The boy was then sent home for his bad behavior.

But that still isn’t enough for Metzger, who said he complained to school officials about the student before, but they refused to remove him from his daughter’s class. On May 13, Metzger delivered the restraining order to the school and on the following day, the student was removed from the classroom.

Now, Metzger is seeking to have the boy removed from the school and the Kenosha Unified School District. A hearing on the restraining order is set for May 20.
