Expelled Grad Student Seeks Readmittance to Portland State

PORTLAND, Ore. — A graduate school who was expelled from Portland State University for allegedly threatening a faculty member with violence is seeking to return to the school.

Henry Liu has filed for an administrative review of his expulsion, CBS reports. His classmate told police that Liu was upset with a professor and talked about guns. Officers found four unloaded guns in Liu’s apartment.

Liu claims he was expelled based on hearsay and did not threaten the faculty member.
