Former Penn State President Graham Spanier is now facing charges in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case. Prosecutors claim he tried to cover up the scandal.
On Thursday, he was charged with perjury, obstruction, endangering the welfare of children and conspiracy, reports the Associated Press. Additional charges were also brought against Timothy Curley and Gary Schultz, who previously were charged with lying to the grand jury. Both face charges of endangering the welfare of children, obstruction and conspiracy.
Last month, Sandusky was sentenced to at least 30 years and perhaps as many as 60 years in prison for his conviction on child sex abuse charges. Some of the incidents occurred at Penn State facilities.
