Ex Penn State Official: No One Dared to Confront Paterno
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – A former Penn State vice president of student affairs is claiming that the school’s former football coach, Joe Paterno, interfered with the discipline process of wayward student athletes.
Vicky Triponey says she saw the “dark side” of Paterno while she was responsible for Penn State’s Office of Judicial Affairs, reports USA Today. She says she was pressured to not stand up to Paterno and that for 40 years, others were pressured to do the same.
