WASHINGTON – The student loan borrowers whose information was inadvertently posted on the Department of Education’s Web site last week will be eligible for free credit monitoring.
The Department of Education made the announcement Aug. 23 regarding the 32,000 federal direct student loan holders affected by the data breach.
