At the 2016 Idaho Prevention and Support Conference held in Sun Valley, Idaho this spring, Campus Safety spoke with Mike Munger of the Boise Independent School District on how districts, particularly those with minimal resources, can put together effective threat assessment teams.
He then discusses the threat assessment process as it often applies to schools. He also covers how to manage a threat after it has been assessed, which often includes providing resources to the student so they can get the help they need.
