GREENWICH, Conn. — The Board of Estimate and Taxation here unanimously agreed Monday to invest $1.4 million to improve security at all public schools in the area.
Greenwich Public Schools will use the funds to add more security cameras as well as upgrade intercom systems. Other improvements include fixing the locks on classroom doors to allow teachers to lock from the inside, reinforce windows with laminated glass, and put shades on classroom door windows, GreenwichTime.com reports.
