Car Plows into Crowd Outside School, Injures 8

LOS ANGELES — Eight people were injured — some of them children — when a car plowed into a group of parents and students outside Main Street Elementary Wednesday.

The crash occurred just after school let out for the day, The Sacramento Bee reports. Six of the eight victims sustained serious injuries, according to firefighters.

It is unclear whether the driver is among the injured, under arrest or being sought, said city fire spokesman Erik Scott.
