Campus Police Rebuffed Molester’s Attempt to Turn Himself In

CHARLESTON, S.C. — A man who pleaded guilty last month to molesting 23 boys claims he tried to turn himself in to campus police at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, in 2001, but officers told him they didn’t handle sexual misconduct reports.

Louis “Skip” ReVille, a graduate of the college, lured young boys to his room for masturbation sessions while serving as a counselor for the school’s summer camp, The Post and Courier reports. When he tried to turn himself in, the officers refused to hear his report and did not refer him to another department.

ReVille went on to molest dozens of additional victims.
