California Legislation Mandates Annual Updates of Hospital Security Plans

SACRAMENTO

As of July 1, California hospitals will be required to annually review and update their security and safety plans.

California Assembly Bill 1083, which was signed into law in October, amends Section 1257.7 of the Health and Safety Code relating to health facilities.
