Ball State U.-Run School Sued for Sex Abuse

Published: October 2, 2012

MUNCIE, Ind.—Ball State University is being sued by the parents of a boy who they say was sexually abused by his second-grade classmates.

The abuse allegedly occurred in late 2011 at Burris Laboratory School, a Ball State University-run campus, reports the Associated Press. The lawsuit claims the boy, who was eight years old at the time, was forced to engage in many sex acts with other children at the school. A total of five boys may have been involved.

The abusers allegedly viewed on computers and iPads porn they downloaded from the campus’ Internet and then acted out scenes from the videos.

No adults are accused of taking part in the abuse.
