Auburn U. to Open New Campus Police Substation

AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn University students who need police assistance will now go to a police substation on campus.

The new substation — according to Dr. Ainsley Carry, vice president of student affairs — offer a faster response to campus crimes, OANOW reports. It will also serve as a visual deterrent to criminals

The substation will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a courtesy phone available outside the office when it is not manned.
