ANN ARBOR, Mich. — A student was grabbed by a man while retrieving something from her car on July 26, the latest of six attacks on women near the University of Michigan’s Central Campus in Ann Arbor.
Police believe the attacks are being carried out by one or two men, AnnArbor.com reports. Some students claim the police are not doing enough to protect them.
A multi-jurisdictional work group has been set up to investigate the attacks. The group is made up of the Ann Arbor Police Department, University of Michigan Department of Public Safety, Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police and FBI.
