TUCSON, Ariz. – A student is seeking an apology from the Tucson Police Department, claiming that an officer slammed into her during a riot following the University of Arizona’s defeat in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Christina Gardilcic, 21, said she was walking with her friends when Sgt. Joel Mann, an 18-year veteran with the police department, slammed into her, ABC News reports.
