Prichard Police Department Spokesman Philip Steil says the victim, who’s name and age have not been released, was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Police say Love knew the victim and it appears to have been an isolated incident. The shooting occurred after classes had already ended for the day.
Love, who is being held at Metro County Jail, has thus far refused to speak to police about the incident.
