5 Students Arrested For Fighting, Assaulting Security Officers

VINELAND, N.J. — Police arrested five Vineland High School North students for their involvement in a series of fights on campus, which included assaults on two security officers.

On Monday, two male students in a confrontation assaulted a 51-year-old male security officer who tried to intervene, Press of Atlantic City reports. Later that day, two females were fighting at the school and attacked the same security officer, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete floor.

Another security officer was knocked to the ground on the same day when he stopped a student from entering the cafeteria without a pass.

Since the beginning of the school year, Police Department’s Juvenile Unit has made 12 arrests at Vineland High.
