2 Students Shot at Ga. University Housing Complex

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. — Two Savannah State University students were injured in a shooting on the night of Sept. 30 at an on-campus townhome complex.

Police are still searching for three men who were seen fleeing the scene in a white Chevy Tahoe, the Savannah Morning News reports. A motive for the shooting has not yet been determined.

This was the second shooting to occur at the university this year. In August, a student was treated for a gunshot wound he received outside a leasing office.
