1st College H1N1 Fatality Reported

A 22-year-old University of Nebraska student has died from what officials suspect to be the swine flu. The woman’s death is believed to be the first H1N1 college death in the United States, according to Fox News.

The victim was Krystyna Serednytsky, a psychology major who had an underlying health condition – muscular dystrophy – that made her more vulnerable to complications from the virus.
