POWAY, Calif. — A Twin Peaks Middle School student has been taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation after police say the student sent a threatening E-mail to a school administrator on Feb. 8.
The message detailed plans to shoot 23 of his peers and a teacher, reports ABC News. The 12-year-old student, whose name and gender have not been released to the public, allegedly also mentioned he had numerous firearms and 3,000 rounds of ammunition. When police searched his home, they found and seized several computers, rifles and handguns.
