1 Shot During North Carolina A&T State U.’s Homecoming Weekend

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Authorities are seeking four suspects in connection with a shooting at North Carolina A&T State University during homecoming weekend, which left one seriously injured.

The shooting occurred Saturday at 10 p.m. near McCain Hall on campus. Greensboro Police Department officials said that one or more suspect fired shots, which struck 21-year-old Devine Eatmon, Associated Press reports.

The victim suffered from serious, but non-life-threatening wounds. It is unclear if anyone was deliberately targeted in the incident.

The university tweeted about the incident on its Web site to inform the campus community.
