The 3VR SmartCam™ by San Francisco-based 3VR Security is a new line of megapixel cameras for use with the SmartRecorder™ and SmartSearch™ NVRs. Available in both indoor and rugged, day-and-night models, the SmartCam has integrated intelligence for optimal use of bandwidth, storage and resources.
The product only sends critical information, such as motion and faces, to the 3VR system for analysis, thus minimizing CPU requirements by as much as 90 percent, according to the company.
