Fairport, N.Y.-based Bosch Security Systems offers the expansion of its FlexiDome camera series with the introduction of a 9-22 mm varifocal lens that adds 20 new models to the line.
The 9-22 mm varifocal lens provides wide area coverage up to 31.2° horizontal and 22.8° vertical and telephoto coverage up to 12.8° horizontal and 9.6° vertical. This enables surveillance system operators to identify a person positioned up to 130 feet away from the camera. The lens is IR-corrected to keep FlexiDome Day/Night cameras in focus at all times, and has an F/1.4 (f-stop) to allow a greater amount of light to pass through the lens to the image sensor.
